Once we got here, we were blessed with a headboard, but our knees/shin tops soon found out that the attached sideboards were not a good option for us. That, and Em had managed to bang her head on the corners of them, and smash her fingers into the doors more than once. So, I finally got time alone with my husband and we went shopping. We found a wonderful fabric we both loved, and he had time to make the headboard out of 'reclaimed' wood from our shipping crates. It took us about 4 hours all total to make this, and we LOVE IT!!! I think at least an hour was just stringing the buttons through the holes, but it was worth it. The question is this: does there need to be a second row of buttons at the top of the pillow line? Take the poll to help us decide... we have the buttons and the holes are drilled into the wood, we (okay, I) weren't sure last night, so I left them off.

I think not...looks great the way it is!!! nice job :)
At first I was going to say no, leave it. BUT....I think 2 rows of buttons would look best....However - it does look AWESOME and I absolutely LOVE the fabric!! Great Job!!!
I like it the way it is! It looks so great! I admire people who can create their own household furnishings that look better than store bought ones!!!
It looks good just the way it is ---- yet, it would probably look just as good with two rows.
The decision is up to you!
Job well done!
