Bed

Todd and I have been married for almost 4 years, and we have never owned a headboard.  We looked at them in the States, but knowing we were leaving it seemed like a waste of money.  I had always wanted to spend a little bit of money and find a great fabric and make my own, but by the time you buy the wood, fabric and all the 'fixings' it would be about the same price as buying a cheap one.  

Once we got here, we were blessed with a headboard, but our knees/shin tops soon found out that the attached sideboards were not a good option for us.  That, and Em had managed to bang her head on the corners of them, and smash her fingers into the doors more than once.  So, I finally got time alone with my husband and we went shopping.  We found a wonderful fabric we both loved, and he had time to make the headboard out of 'reclaimed' wood from our shipping crates.  It took us about 4 hours all total to make this, and we LOVE IT!!!  I think at least an hour was just stringing the buttons through the holes, but it was worth it.  The question is this:  does there need to be a second row of buttons at the top of the pillow line?  Take the poll to help us decide... we have the buttons and the holes are drilled into the wood, we (okay, I) weren't sure last night, so I left them off.
