I had heard from many that the jump from 2 kids to 3 is more dynamic than any of the pervious jumps. Having one child changes your life in ways you can't even begin to comprehend until you have that little one in your arms. With Thing 2, you know the change that's coming, but you're not sure how Thing 1 will handle it all. But with Thing 3... well, I think Dr. Seuss had it right to stop at 1 and 2. They outnumber you. When you go somewhere alone, there are more of them than you have hands to gather them up. But honestly, I hold that 3 is WAY easier than 1 ever was. Maybe its that my learning curve was a bit slow in the beginning and I'm just now hitting my stride. Maybe by 3, you're so sleep-deprived that you forget what it felt like to just have one. Who knows. All I knows is that I feel like I can do just about anything, fairly efficiently, with all Things in tow; except one.
I cannot manage to get a picture where all three kids are looking at the camera, at the same time, AND looking like I'm not pulling their toenails off.
Example #1
Em, besides the odd foot-holding pose, isn't really jazzed to be there and Harper looks like she's just seen chocolate cake and can't WAIT to eat it all up... once she figures out how to move. Cooper, my champ, is the only one paying attention to what Mommy has said, "sit and smile!"
Example #2
Someone should tell Coop that the scrunched-nose look was NEVER in... I wish they would have told me that as well for that matter. And once again, Em is more concerned with someone else than the camera... over here girl! And none of them are looking at the camera, they're all fascinated by something Daddy is doing over in the garden. *slap forehead here*

See, two is easy and when its only two, it lends itself to awesome pictures! Guess I've officially met my match :)

I laughed out loud at the "toe-holding" picture ---
And, then the next one with the "nose cruch up" ---
Finally the two little girls ... Perhaps you could have slipped Cooper in at the last minute on that one .... then, again, perhaps not!
Adorable pictures and awesome write up that had me laughing!
