Progression

There is a natural progression (I think) of blowing out birthday candles. Em did it so well, I thought we should share a... tutorial of sorts for soon-to-blow-out-candle-ers. We worked very hard on this from last year, which was a bit of a candle blowing disaster, and now, as the following pictures will show, Em has mastered the art of blowing out flaming numbers on top of yummy cake (even though icing is the only reason to eat cake!).

Step #1: Congratulate yourself for the accomplishment that has been achieved to produce the cake in front of you.

Step #2: Suck in half the oxygen in the room so that you can blow out the numerous candles which lay in front of you.

Step #3: Blow out the candles!

Step #4: Pretend to wait patiently for someone to cut the cake and serve it to you and everyone else, then- ENJOY!!
