Tonight, as we were cleaning up the living room so Emme could head to her bath, she started counting her books as she put them away, and then her puzzle pieces. Some days, I'm just in awe and amazement of my children! (Thanks Shannan for the, um, background music in the video!)

Girlfriend Can Count!
For the longest time, Em would say numbers but they meant absolutely nothing and were in no particular order. The last few days, she's been getting the order, but had a thing against certain numbers... like 3 and 6 and 7. Then today, as I was driving back from my MOPS brunch, she busts out 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and finally 7 in order... for 20 minutes straight (if you think I'm kidding, I was riding with a friend who can attest, 20 minutes of non-stop counting to seven).
