The theme was Asian, which we assumed meant the food, and while we dressed up for the affair, as best we (meaning my big belly) could, we had no idea that almost everyone else had gone out and bought/borrowed Asian-inspired outfits. Oh well, a Chinese dress wouldn't have fit and I would have hated to see this belly in an Indian sari. But it was a ton of fun and even though we had to leave a bit early (Em and I were both totally exhausted and I wasn't feeling too great anyways), we had a ton of fun.

Saturday
As many of you know, for a variety of reasons, at 33 weeks pregnant, we switched care providers. The new gal we go to suggested a prenatal class on water and water birth (what's one more anti-natal class anyways?). We packed Em up for the morning to be with one of the missionary girls here, and we headed off across town for the class. Needless to say, it didn't change my opinion about this (I hate baths unless they involve Mr. Fribby, my Gram's mechanical frog, and Mr. Bubbles... they're just too long and too boring in my opinion). We did, however, have a good time with the other couples and Todd and I enjoyed the long drive there and back to just talk, just the two of us.
We then came home to all the little details and organizational things I've been making lists of all week. Todd, being the good sport he is, helped me hang the surfboard shelf in the kids' room (yes, that is my old car, Bertha's, license plate), among other mundane and tedious tasks I had for him to do that I no longer can accomplish myself. Since I finished the crib bumper, I also was able to put that in so Em will get a chance to use it until the new baby is moved into the room (Shanon, see, I put bold patterns on the inside to stimulate the baby, just like that black and white book- I'm such a good student).
So we got more of the kids' room ready, and I'm really excited to be done (note: done doesn't mean finished) and then it was time to get ready for the mission banquet at church.

The theme was Asian, which we assumed meant the food, and while we dressed up for the affair, as best we (meaning my big belly) could, we had no idea that almost everyone else had gone out and bought/borrowed Asian-inspired outfits.
